Leadership conference in Nikolaiv, Ukraine and Spring schedule

Still in Ukraine after three days of glorious worship, dance, fellowship and sharing God's word and vision for the 17 IAMCS congregations there. We had visitors from Croatia and an Israeli brother now from Finland. Barry Boucher and two brothers came from Canada. You can see photos and a short video at https://picasaweb.google.com/messianic.initiative/April212012.

Next Saturday we will join up with a prayer team from Louisiana. We will head south by car eventually reaching Le Chambon-sur Lignon, a small town of 5,000 that saved 5,000 Jews during WWII. Here's an article about the town: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Le_Chambon-sur-Lignon. What a story of the faithfulness of God's people!

We also plan to visit Spain in May to make contacts with Messianic believers there. In June, there will be an IAMCS leadership conference for Western Europe. We hope to have representatives from France, Belgium, The Netherlands, England, Finland, Czech Republic, Italy, Ukraine and the US. Please pray for our schedule and travels which will be intense as well as agreat blessing. Shalom. David Schneier

Where you can find us this Spring

Leslye and I are back in Paris for a very busy time in Europe. The conference in Corinth, Texas (April 3-8) was very encouraging. I had a chance to share with several thousand people at the conference site and many thousands on the internet. First, I will be in Ukraine from April 16-23 for an IAMCS leadership conference in Nikolaiv. From April 28-May 5 we will be with a prayer team from Louisiana visiting sites in France where the Jews were protected from persecution including the small town of Le Chambon-sur-lignon that hid 5,000 Jews during WWII.

Some time in May we are hoping to travel to Spain to visit Messianic Jewish groups there. Then we will travel to an IAMCS Messianic leadership conference in Belgium from June 1-3. Finally, Chuck Pierce will be sharing in a church in Paris on June 15th. We will travel with Chuck to Lyon where he will be ministering with Paul Wilbur.

On the Parisian front, our Jewish neighbor, the opera singer, had just returned from China when we arrived from our trip to the Dallas area this past Monday. He asked me if I could explain to his children the meaning of Passover and a Bat Mitzvah. He is now exploring his Jewish roots since he was raised Catholic. I had a great time with his kids and got share how Yeshua was connected to Passover. Keep praying for our neighbor who is searching earnestly for spiritual meaning.

So, as you can see, there is a lot in front of us. Please pray that these next few months will be fruitful for the kingdom of God. Shalom. David Schneier

Arrival in Dallas just after the tornados

Yesterday our plane was delayed in departing for 2 hours in Paris meaning that we arrived at DFW at 5:30pm and not 3:30 pm. We learned after landing that we were the 2nd plane allowed in after tornados struck the Dallas area and that 95% of all departures had been canceled. And there was no rush hour to deal with because we left the airport in a rental car at 7pm. If we hadn't been delayed in Paris we would have arrived in the Dallas area in the midst of all the turbulence and probably have been rerouted to some unknown destination. We had no idea of the danger we were heading to but the Lord did. The timing was incredible. Shalom. David Schneier

A Grand Exhibit at the Grand Palais in Paris

This past weekend at the Grand Palais in Paris, art galleries displayed the best of their modern art collections. The range of work was amazing as you will see at https://picasaweb.google.com/messianic.initiative/March31201202. Some of it was annoying and repulsive but I was surprised at how much of it I liked. More to come from Paris and Europe. David Schneier
