Scientology on the ropes in France
According to The Washington Post, an appeals court in France has upheld the 2009 fraud conviction of the Church of Scientology which included fines of 600,000 Euros and suspended sentences for four of its members. The original charges were lodged against the church for pressuring members to give large sums of money for questionable remedies. France does not recognize Scientology as a religion. I guess this isn't a good day for Tom Cruise and John Travolta. Shalom from David Schneier
